The Transmission Company Of Nigeria says efforts are ongoing to restore stable power supply to areas affected by recent disruptions.
The company also shared pictures of the current work in progress, highlighting the extensive repair efforts being carried out by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
The TCN says it is actively repairing towers at Ado, Benue state which are among the first priority areas of these critical repairs.
Additionally, intensive work is underway on the 330kV Shiroro–Kaduna Lines 1 and 2, where vandalized towers have disrupted electricity transmission.
For security reasons, TCN teams working in the thick forest area of Shiroro are provided with necessary protective measures to ensure safe and efficient progress.
The team according to the spokesperson of TCN, Ndidi Mbah, has successfully located the faults on these lines and is actively working on them.
Repairs to Line 2 are expected to be completed soon, after which the focus will shift immediately to completing Line 1.
