The Tudun Biri community, represented by their Traditional and Religious leaders, have unequivocally disassociate themselves from claims of filing a lawsuit demanding 33 Billion Naira from the government.
They firmly state that no individual or group has been authorized to initiate legal action on their behalf.
This stance follows publications in various national dailies asserting that the community had taken legal action against the Federal Government, seeking N33 billion in compensation for the tragic consequences of the recent erroneous army bombing, resulting in the loss of at least 85 lives.
The community leaders describe these allegations as a nefarious ploy orchestrated by malicious individuals aiming to stir unrest and extort funds from the government.
The governor Uba sani who received them at the Government promised them to intensify the fight for justice on their behalf.
The governor has also promised to go after the culprits.
