The Vice President during his visit commissioned the Ogun fashion Hub located at Ajebo road, Abeokuta where young entrepreneurs in fashion business would get desired support and the modern Adire shared facility to support the local textile industry.

While declaring the event open, the Vice President said the initiative was designed to provide solutions to the challenges hindering the development of MSMEs, help business owners have access to capital, formalize their businesses, and enjoy government supports.

On his part, the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun said the state is the industrial hub of the country and due to the enabling environment provided, new businesses are springing up.

He highlighted other programmes and initiatives introduced by his administration to support MSMEs.

The event provided opportunity for small business owners to meet regulatory bodies like the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) among others.
