President Muhammadu Buhari has been briefed on the security situation in the country, twenty four hours after lawmakers demanded for resignation or sack of Service Chiefs.
The president presided over the security ouncil meeting amid those demands over the failure to end boko haram insurgency and other violent crimes, especially in the north east.
At the end of the meeting, the national security adviser disclosed that the major resolution reached is on the need for greater collaboration between government agencies.
He refused to disclose what kind of collaboration is required, but insists that the security challenges facing the country are multidimensional.
