The federal government said it is finalising arrangements to develop an action plan to end farmers/ herders clashes in the country. 
Minister of Interior Abdulrahman Dambazzau revealed this shortly after a closed door meeting with leaders and members of a Fulani socio-cultural group, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breaders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN.
He says the government is meeting with the Fulani leaders to hear their grievances after which a similar dialogue with farmers, will be convened.
The Acting Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Adamu says the security agencies are ready to dialogue with members of the society, who are ready to abide by the peace agreement.
