Kopa village in Madagali local government area of Adamawa state is still deserted as residents of the community fled during an attack by suspected Boko haram members who shot sporadically and set houses ablaze on Monday night.
The Police Public Relations Officer for the state confirmed the attack.
A similar attack occurred last week at Michika Local Government Area, where a commercial bank was set ablaze by the insurgents.
