The funeral of Funmilola Adefolalu, an FUT MInna Lecturer who was murdered by her 14 year-old maid is currently taking place in Minna
Funmilola Sherifat Adefolalu born on the 12th September 1967 in Shaki west local council of Oyo state, spent her early days in Kaduna state.
She began her career in 1993 as the laboratory officer in Royal clinic and maternity.
In November 2005, Dr. Adefolalu was employed as an assistant lecturer in the department of biochemistry at the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
She published over 30 articles in both local and international journals and presented at several national and international conferences.
Her husband professor Adefolalu passed on January 2014.
In 2009, she joined the tabernacle of mercy where she was ordained a pastor in 2015.
At the time of her death she was involved in ongoing funded at the African centre of excellence for Mycotoxin and food safety in FUT Minna .
She was an Associate professor of biochemistry at the same university.
