This comes as Labour won a landslide that rivals the all-time best it achieved under Tony Blair in 1997
His new cabinet includes Rachel Reeves as chancellor, Angela Rayner as deputy leader and Yvette Cooper as home secretary.
Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak has said he will stay on as Conservative leader for now until plans are in place to choose his successor.
It’s still not clear how and when his party would choose who will lead it in opposition.
The scale of the Tories’ defeat means some would be leadership candidates are no longer in parliament.
