Troops Recover Arms, Arrest Suspected Criminals In Jos

Troops of 3 Division and Operation Safe Haven have arrested some suspected criminals,  recover several arms and ammunitions in Plateau State.

This latest development has received commendation from residents, as they urged the troops to sustain the tempo.

Following credible intelligence, troops arrested two suspected masterminds of a foiled attack at Kazok Village in Barkin Ladi LGA.

A suspected notorious bandit on the security wanted list was killed during an offensive operation in troubled Wase community, two suspected bandits disturbing the Bokkos community were also arrested.

Also, four suspected members of a notorious criminal syndicate and cultists operating in Mikang LGA were among the many suspects arrested.

Several weapons, including AK-47 rifles, foreign-made Berettas, pistols, AK-47 magazines, ammunition, automatic rifles, Magnum pump-action, military uniforms, and fabricated revolver rifles were recovered from the suspects.

The news of the latest success by the troops has been  highly commended by stakeholders in the State.

The leadership of 3 Division and Operation Safe Haven says it is committed to ensuring the security of lives and property in the Joint Operations areas.

They are calling on members of the public to continue to support security agencies by availing timely intelligence.
