The National Union of Textile Garments and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria came out in their numbers to protest at the Ikeja Electricity Company against poor power supply to NICHEMTEX.
Workers who work in the textile company fear that they might be jobless due to the disagreement between the Ikeja Electricity Company and the textile company.
According to the general secretary of the textile union more than three thousand workers might loose their job as the company can’t produce for more than three months.
