The Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Austin Tam George has resigned his appointment.
His resignation was communicated to governor Nyesom Wike on Friday morning.
George said he handed it over to the director of administration in the ministry of information.
It is unclear if Governor Wike accepted the resignation which comes a day after the Governor sacked his Commissioner of Works, Bathuel Harrison for yet to be disclosed reasons.
