Nigerians may pay an additional five naira on all petroleum prices if a National Roads Fund bill before the Senate is passed into law.
The document was listed for debate on Thursday but could not be considered before the end of plenary.
The five naira increase is part of recommendations of the Senate Committee on Works, which worked on the bill and another Federal Roads Authority bill, meant to revive road rehabilitation and construction in Nigeria.
