The Senate is to investigate an alleged plot by Senator Abdullahi Adamu and other senators to remove the Saraki-led leadership of the chamber.
Senator Obinna Ogba representing Ebonyi-Central raised the alarm at Thursday’s plenary claiming he had evidence that aggrieved senators and civil society groups were being paid to destabilize the Senate leadership.
But in a swift reaction, Senator Adamu in a statement described the allegation as false as he couldn’t be thinking of removing Saraki a few months to general election.
