The strike embarked upon by maritime workers has entered day two.
On day one, business activities in the nation’s seaports experienced set backs as maritime workers shutdown ports operations nationwide.
The workers decision was driven by unpaid wages but besides agitations for payment of unpaid wages, the workers are also calling on government to check the defiant attitude of the international oil companies.
TVC News observed that only ladened trucks were exiting the port, but no truck was allowed access into the port.
