Scores trapped as building collapses in a Kano market

An unidentified number of persons have been trapped in an uncompleted two-storey building in at Beirut road mobile phone market in Kano state.

Rescue operations have begun by officials of the Kano State Fire Service, Federal Road Safety Corps, and the Police.

An witness describe the situation as worrisome and calls for quick response to avert loss of many lives.
