The Bukola Saraki led Reconciliation Committee of the People’s Democratic Party has mdet with former President Goodluck Jonathan at his residence in Abuja.
The visit is aimed to close ranks, settle rifts and consolidate ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The committee held talks that were aimed at uniting members of the main opposition party and also improve the party’s approval ratings ahead of the next general election.
Other members of the reconciliation team that joined the chairman Bukola Saraki on the Visit are former governors Ibrahim Dankwambo, Ibrahim Shema and Liyel Imoke of Gombe, Katsina and Cross River states respectively.
Others are ex- Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim; and erstwhile House of Representatives leader, Mulikat Adeola-Akande.
