Rotary club donates maternity kits to less privileged nursing mothers in Plateau

The Rotary E Club of Eagles Nigeria is empowering some less privileged pregnant and nursing mothers in the Shen community of Jos south council areas of Plateau State.

Some of the Items distributed include maternity kits while also educating them on helpful tips for a healthy pregnancy and safer delivery.

Locals, mostly nursing and pregnant women, in this Community were elated following the items brought to them by the Rotary E Club of Eagles Nigeria.

Rotary yearly observes the child and maternal health week in July, a move which informs this visit by members of the Rotary E Club of Eagles Nigeria to the local area.

Some relief items, mostly maternity kits with hygiene kits, were among the items shared free

The group took its time to educate the women on some helpful tips, from pregnancy to safe delivery, as well as how to maintain personal hygiene after child birth.

To the beneficiaries, this gesture is timely and will go a long way in solving their present need in this regard.

The leadership of the Rotary E Club of Eagles Nigeria says they are committed to ensuring the safety of the less privileged mothers and children in the state.
