Residents and landowners of Cajaah Estate, Orozo, in Abuja, have called on the federal government to investigate the alleged fraud carried out by the management of the estate developers.
In a peaceful protest, they complained about the ill treatment by thugs allegedly brought in by the developers.
Many residents in the FCT are still out and about town,visiting fun spots as they continue celebrating Sallah on the second day of the public holiday declared by the federal government.
But residents of Cajaah estate in a satellite suburb of the 65s FCT, are not celebrating , rather they choose to engage in a peaceful protest calling on the EFCC and the federal government to come to their aid.
They alleged that they are constantly threatened with eviction by the management of the development company in charge of their estate, who has failed in its duties to bring development to the estate despite their having paid the development levies.
The residents want this dispute with the Estate developers resolved quickly and they want Government to direct the appropriate agencies to look into their plight.
