The ad-hoc committee investigating the health implications of erecting telecommunications masts close to residential buildings has given Chief Executive Officers of all telecoms companies till June the fourteenth to
appear before it.
The committee decried what it said is the uncooperative attitude of the Chief Executives towards its assignment.
And arising from its oversight to mast stations around the country, the committee expressed concern that the telecoms operators didn’t meet the regulatory standards regarding the installation of masts in residential areas.
