The House Committee on Information is asking for more funds for the Federal Ministry of Information and agencies under its purview.
Addressing parliamentary reporters in his office, Chairman of the Committee, Olusola Fatoba, calls on the Budget office of the Federation to always priotise the needs of the Ministry and its agencies.
He describes the entire budget of the Ministry and its agencies which is about N400 million as unrealistic to achieve set goals.
Olusola Fatoba says his Committee has appealed to the leadership of the House to see ways of increasing the spending plan for the Ministry and its agencies.
