
U.S. president Donald Trump has announced that White House Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders will leave her post at the end of the month.
He announced on Twitter Thursday that his spokeswoman will return to her home state of Arkansas and floated the possibility of a gubernatorial run for the White House press secretary.
Mrs Sanders, who is the latest senior White House aide to exit, said her role had been “the honour of a lifetime”.

Her departure leaves Trump without one of his chief public defenders, longest-serving advisers and closest aides.
sanders also addressed her departure during a press briefing on Thursday.
