President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council meeting holding inside the chambers of the Presidential Villa.
The meeting will deliberate on issues of National importance, approve memos for the award of contracts and also formulate policies to enhance governance.
This will be the first executive council meeting after the tripartite committee on the new minimum wage submitted its report to President Tinubu on resolutions reached.
It is expected that the report will be deliberated at the federal executive council meeting that has in attendance ministers and other members of the federal cabinet.
The Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima is absent from the meeting, it is unclear if he has returned to Abuja after attending the funeral of his mother in-law Hajia Maryam Abubakar Albishir who died on Sunday at the age of 69 after a prolonged illness.
