The lawyer to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Ifeanyi Ejiofor , has been declared wanted by the Anambra state Police Command.Ejiofor is wanted in connection with the killing of two officers in Oraifite town on Monday.
Police said they were killed by members of IPOB, when a team of security men went to arrest Mister Ejiofor over a complaint of abduction against him.
Police also said a vehicle belonging to the command was set on fire. But in a reaction, the spokesman of the proscribed group denied the accusations, and instead accused the police of bringing terror to the home of the lawyer and burning down houses, just four days after the burial of his elder brother.
