The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of a nursing mother and her child along the Supare/Ajegunle route in Akoko South West Local Government Area.
According to the command’s spokesperson, Abayomi Jimoh, the incident occurred on Saturday night.
Jimoh stated that efforts are underway, with security measures deployed in the area to ensure the safe and unharmed rescue of the victims. He reiterated the command’s commitment to protecting the lives and property of all residents in the state.
Reports indicate that the victim, the wife of a well-known furniture maker, was abducted from her residence along with her child.
