The Police Command in Plateau State have arrested nine people suspected to be connected with the fresh attacks in the communities.
They are also accused of causing the deaths, and destruction of property in Mangu Council area, in Plateau State.
The police authorities confirmed the development while parading the suspects before journalists in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
The men are accused of carrying out deadly attacks on Tuesday.
According to local reports, dozens of people have been killed, since the escalation of renewed hostilities in the Plateau State.
The 24 hour curfew imposed on Mangu Council area by the Governor Caleb Muftwang could not prevent the large scale violence that an unrest in in the Communities.
These are some of those arrested for their involvement in Tuesday’s attacks, and killings, in some rural communities and towns in the State.
Another eight suspects believed to have carried out the Christmas Eve killings in Bokkos were also paraded.
The Police also displayed some weapons recovered from the suspects.
The 24-hour curfew imposed by the state government has not been lifted, and there is still fear and uncertainty in communities as many more residents flee to safety.
