As the ceremony of the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan Coronation gathers momentum, several cultural groups have taken the centre stage to entertain guests, spectators ahead of the main event of the crowning, at Mapo Hall, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The groups dressed in their traditional Aso Ofi are captured dancing, drumming and singing energetically as the mammoth crowd is watching the order of events unfold.

TVC previously reported that a massive crowd of residents, well-wishers, and dignitaries flooded the ancient city of Ibadan on Friday to witness the historic coronation of Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The ceremony, held at the iconic Mapo Hall in the Beere area of the city, drew people from all walks of life, with major routes—including Total Garden to Mapo, Gate to Beere, Challenge to Beere, and Beere to Opo—packed with enthusiastic crowds celebrating the ascension of the new monarch.
