Global fashion giant Nike has unveiled the new home and away jerseys for Nigeria’s male national football team, the Super Eagles.
Announced via the Super Eagles’ official X handle on Monday, the new kit launch arrives while fans are still reeling from the Super Eagles’ failure to secure a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Super Eagles missed out on the World Cup tournament after losing to DR Congo in the playoffs despite efforts from European stars like Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.

The kits, according to a statement on Nike’s official website, were made from 100% recycled polyester fibres.
The statement reads, “The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets.

“From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.”
The Super Eagles’ home kit features a vibrant light green base with darker green panels and a subtle dotted fade pattern, accented by the Nigeria Football Federation crest and Nike swoosh.

The product description reads, “This kit continues their tradition of street-ready designs that make a statement far beyond the field.”
The launch comes at a time when the national team are preparing for a four-team friendly tournament with Jordan, Iran and Costa Rica.
Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has announced the line-up ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming international friendlies, excluding several top players, including Victor Osimhen and first-choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, from his latest squad.
The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that Chelle selected a 23-man squad ahead of the friendly matches against Iran and Jordan.
Chelle picked team captain Wilfred Ndidi, midfield ace Alex Iwobi and forward Ademola Lookman in a list of 23 players for this month’s international friendly matches against Iran and Jordan, which have now been moved from the Jordanian capital, Amman, to the city of Antalya in Turkey.
