Air travel activities are ongoing at the local wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday.
This followed the halt of a planned downing of tools by airline operators over what they called high cost of the Jet A1, also known as aviation fuel.
Passenger turnout was low as air travellers arrived in trickles.
Passengers say they were devastated at the news over the weekend but did not consider road travel owing to insecurity challenges.
They are hopeful ongoing talks with the authorities would bring about solutions that will prevent another planned halt in air activities.
Meanwhile, one of the boarding gates earlier blocked by Arik Air passengers, who spent the night at the airport , after being unable to travel yesterday evening has now been opened.
Eyewitnesses say the crisis took about one hour to be resolved, before other passengers could board, after which the aggrieved passengers were also able to fly.
