Osun APC Women Rally for Asiwaju Tinubu and Senator Shettima

Women in Osun state have reiterated their commitment to mobilize support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress in next year’s election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu especially at the grassroots.

Leaders of the women support groups made the promise at a solidarity walk held in support of the Apc presidential candidate in Oshogbo.

Few days ago, a political Group ‘Akoni Obinrin’ under the leadership of wife of the Osun State Governor, Kafayat Oyetola was inaugurated.

The first assignment of the group after inauguration is this solidarity work in support of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The walk which held in Osogbo is aimed at galvanizing support for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential aspiration ticket under the APC.

After moving round major streets with funfair, they converged on the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Oshogbo where they told members of their new tasks.

Kafayat Oyetola, and a former deputy governor of the state, Titi Laoye-Tomori promised to coordinate the activities of the group to galvanze support for the Tinubu/Shetimma ticket.

They say women as the dominant electorate in the State will deliver one million votes for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in February 2023 Presidential election in Osun State.

The campaign according to them would be decentralized to ensure the gospel gets to the nooks and crannies of the state.

State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Gboyega Famoodun, assures that the party structure in the state will provide logistic support to aid the activities of the women group urging them to give their best in the project.

The women promised enough sensitization for the electorate from now till February.

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, a former Borno State governor have been criss crossing the length and Breadth of the Country since they emerged as the Presidential and Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
