He stated this at the Fathers Day Celebration which  held at the Villa Chapel , Abuja.

Father’s Day is a day set aside  worldwide to mark the importance of Fathers in society, and it is observed on the third Sunday of June.

And as part of Celebrating this day at the Villa Chapel, children gave a special rendition for fathers

The fathers in turn, as celebrators of the day also gave a rendition in thanksgiving to God.

In his message to the occasion,  Osinbajo, urged leaders of the church to stand on honesty and truth, noting that the greed of many, who could be counted as good parishioners in the church, was what had landed the nation in its present predicament.

The Acting President encouraged  fathers to build up a generation of righteous men and women who  place God above everything.

He also warned men, especially those found culpable, to desist from domestic violence.

Gifts were presented to the Acting President, the Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
