One person has been killed when a truck carrying a container lost control along Motorways axis of Lagos – Ibadan expressway.
The accident which occurred in the early hours of this morning caused heavy traffic that left commuters stranded.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the truck which sustained serious injury was said to be over speeding which led to the death of the conductor of the truck.
Truck drivers in Lagos have been given stipulated time of 7pm to 6am, but this has not been adhered to.
