Following the killing of three suspected robbers by irate mob along Hospital road in Akure the Ondo state police command has warned people of the state against jungle justice.
Three suspected armed robbers who allegedly stole two motorcycles at gunpoint were attacked by some youths in Akure on Monday.
The suspects who were injured by the mob were later rescued by the police from the scene.
Spokesman of the state police command, condemned the attack, describing it as illegal.
He noted that the police would not condone such act, stressing that the perpetrators would be brought to book to serve as a deterrent to others.
