A leading governorship aspirant in Ondo State, Jimi Odimayo says he remains the best candidate for the state in the coming election.
Mr. Odimayo spoke at a meeting with members of the State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC and a press briefing at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Press Centre in Akure.
Jimi Odimayo is one of the sixteen governorship aspirants jostling for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo State.
He was at the APC secretariat in Akure to meet with members of the State Working Committee of the party.
The APC Governorship hopeful, who was received by the State Chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin said he remains the best man for the job.
The governorship hopeful said his experience in the private sector will be brought to bear on governance, if he is elected as Governor.
Odimayo also addressed journalists, where he told them that he is in the race to win.
He said he will prioritise agriculture development and focus on empowerment of youths and women.
Jimi Odimayo is optimistic that he will emerge victorious at the APC primary election later in the month.
