First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has commiserated with the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the government and people, as well as corporate organisations including the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and the United Bank for Africa (UBA), over the tragic fire outbreak at Afriland Towers on Broad Street, Lagos, which claimed the lives of 11 people.
She prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed.
She prayed God to comfort the families, colleagues and loved ones of the departed and the injured during this time of grief and pain.
She comforted the corporate organisations and Government agencies who lost members of staff, friends and colleagues in the fire while also extending prayers for speedy recovery for the injured, and courage and strength for those left behind to bear the irreplaceable and irreparable loss.
