The apex socio-cultural organisation of the Igbo, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, in Ondo state has lamented the marginalisation of Politicians from the region.The group at the end of a meeting in Akure, said it is sad that the southeast has not produced the Vice president and President of Nigeria since the return of democratic government in 1998.
The Secretary General of the group, Uche Erondu said it is necessary for the Igbos to produce the president of the country after the 2019 General election.
