Ogun state government says its partnering with the federal government under the social housing scheme todevelop 10,000 units of affordable homes across the state, in order to mitigate the challenges of housing deficit and the effect of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The Governor, Dapo Abiodun made this known in Abeokuta, during the 2020 World habitat day celebration

He said another 2,500 housing units are being considered across the state to bridge the housing deficit.
He however asked residents to support the initiative aimed at providing quality,affordable smart city for the good of all
