Members of the National Association of Nurses and Midwives in Ogun State have complained the hardship nurses are facing due to brain drain in the health sector.
They made this known in Abeokuta during inauguration of the newly elected executive members of the body in the state.
They say despite the efforts of the state Government in employing more nurses and improve the sector, the rate at which their colleagues resign and seek greener pastures abroad need urgent attention.
They also want to federal government to employ more nurses at federal medical Institutions in order to reduce pressure on the remaining ones.
