Image result for Obasanjo's letter to Buhari, a damaging verdict - SecondusPeoples Democratic Party National Chairman, Uche Secondus has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s letter to President Buhari as a damaging verdict.Secondus who was speaking at a meeting with former PDP ministers, asked them to use this opportunity to turn the political narrative in Nigeria to the party’s advantage.

TVC News Senior Correspondent Sumner Sambo reports that Secondus described as courageous, the letter written by former president Olusegun Obasanjo against the APC administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Describing it as a political tsunami that reiterates what PDP has been saying consistently, Secondus advised members to use the opportunity to move to their constituencies to preach PDP’s message of hope for the 2019 general election.

The former ministers said their visit is meant to offer themselves as a platform for explaining policies of previous PDP administrations to Nigerians.

The issue came up on a day that the PDP Reconciliation Committee led by Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa state was meeting with aggrieved aspirants in the December nine convention.

None of the chairmanship aspirants were at the meeting which the PDP said is meant to finally address all issues raised by all aggrieved aspirants.

The National Working Committee of the PDP said this outreach and many others are aimed at closing ranks before 2019.
