The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) has announced the deaths of some of its staff members from the Gombe station following a fatal road accident along the Gombe–Bolari Road.
The victims were reportedly returning from the wedding ceremony of a colleague when the crash occurred.
In a statement issued by the Director-General of the NTA, Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos, the Authority described the incident as a devastating loss, noting that the deceased were dedicated professionals whose service and camaraderie would be deeply missed.
He extended the condolences of the Management and entire staff of the NTA to the families of the departed and to the NTA Gombe team, saying the organisation shares in their grief during this difficult time.
The Director-General prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the deceased and for comfort for their families, friends, and colleagues.
