Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC in Ondo State have intercepted four boats, loaded with 118 kegs of adulterated diesel in Iju-Osun, Irele Local Government Area of the state.
Eleven persons, including a pregnant woman and two teenagers, were arrested along with the product, totalling 23,600 litres.
This appears to be another headway for operatives of the Ondo State command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
The operatives arrested eleven persons caught in the act, as they were moving adulterated diesel in Iju-Osun, Irele Local Government Area of the state.
Out of these suspects, one is a pregnant woman, while two are minors, who were not paraded before journalists.

Items recovered from the suspects include 4 boats, loaded with 118 kegs, totalling about 23,600 litres of adulterated petroleum product.
Also recovered from the suspects are 5 speed boat engines.
Parading the suspects before journalists in Akure, the State NSCDC Commandant, Hammed Abodunrin said the arrest was made possible through a tip off.
He said the suspects will be charged to court to serve as deterrent to others.
