Although some railway tracks used in the early 80s and 90s still exist and are largely unused.

This time, The Nigeria Security and civil Defence Corps was swift to act as they arrested 6 suspects carting away about 300 pieces of railway sleepers, knots and bolts.

The suspects however claimed to be transporters who were tricked by a man who claimed to work with the Nigerian railway corporation.
