Both commercial and vehicular activities are skeletal.
In some major streets in Owerri most shops are under lock and key.
As banks within the capital city did not open for business.

Security Operatives were also seen at strategic point to ensure peace and order in case of any eventualities.
Recently, the Ohaneze Ndigbo youth wing urged the youth to shun the protest.
Governor Hope Uzodinma at Stakeholders meeting Wednesday advised Imo residents to shun the protest but give the government more time to address economics challenges in the country.
