The African Democratic Congress, ADC in Zamfara state is insisting the party will not step down for other political parties in next year’s general election.
Addressing newsmen in Gusau, governorship candidate of the party, Ahmad Hashim also condemned the ban on Political Activities by the Zamfara State Government, describing it as uncalled for.
With about five months to the 2023 General Election, Political parties in the country have Continued to sell their Candidates to the electorate.
The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Zamfara is determined not to be left behind.
The Political party says it is optimistic of Victory in the 2023 General Election. It says there’s no plan to step down for any Candidate or Political party in the coming election
Speaking to Newsmen in Gusau, Ahmad Hashim the Governorship Candidate of the ADC also denied stories making the rounds that the party is holding brief for other Political Parties
The forty two year old Governorship Candidate noted that he has what it takes to take the state to greater heights, if elected the Governor come 2023.
He promises to be fair to all: ” We are not in talk with any Political party ahead of next year’s Election and we will not step down for any Candidate or Political party” Hashim said.
” Zamfara needs a capable and experience person that will govern it, and I have all that takes to be the Governor” he added.
“Communities have been siege by the bandits and nothing is being done to liberate the affected Communities, so ADC Has the answer and solution to the security challenges bedevilling out dear state”
The ADC also condemned the ban on Political Activities in Zamfara by the state government and the recent attack on NUJ Chairman by Political thugs
” For us, the ban on Political Activities is not due to the upsurge of attacks and Kidnapping, but because the Government has failed and have nothing to show it’s four years in Office”
“If truly the shutdown was due to security issues, then what happened that nine Persons were abducted three days after the shutdown, where did the Kidnappers followed and Kidnapped the innocent people in the homes” Ahmad Hashim said.
The ADC added that it will woo Investors to the state which will inturn address Insecurity, joblessness and tackle poverty.
“I will ensure I bring in Local and foreign Investors to come and invest so that our youths will have something to do”
“I have never been Comfortable seeing our youth roving the street without work to do”
Ahmad Hashim enjoin the youths to shun Political Thuggery and toe the part of peace.
