The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has met with Labour Leaders in Abuja to brainstorm and explain his plans to them on how he intends to move the Country forward.

Guests on the TVC News Programme Journalists Hangout while reacting to the meeting say it is a good development that the Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress called on the All Progressives Congress Candidate and he obliged them by making himself available.

While X-raying his promises to workers, the guests led by Babajide Kolade-Otitoju say the candidate has presented his programmes to the Labour Unions and Leadership who are in a good position to see what he has promised them and accept that he presents a compelling case to be backed in the forthcoming elections.

He discloses that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, listed the issue of fighting unemployment, Crude Oil theft and insecurity before the Workers.

According to Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, once a candidate pledges to do something for the people in the Course of campaigning for office it is a duty of the led and not just the leaders to ensure that this promises are fulfilled.

BKO as he is fondly called also says the people must ensure they hold their leaders accountable and not continue with the fait accompli nature of the relationship with their leaders.

For his part, Olayinka Oyegbule, says Leaders must be held accountable by the citizens and that what was the action or Lobbying that the Nigerian Labour Congress and its partners in the Trade Union Congress took to ensure that promises made to the Workers in Nigeria are fulfilled by the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

They both however agree that it was a good outing for the Former Lagos State governor who harped on the importance of Technology especially in achieving the laudable aims he set out in his discourse with Nigerian Workers in Abuja.
