The Nigerian Army, 3 Brigade Headquarters says it is working tirelessly to ensure the crime and criminality ravaging Kano’s neighboring states is dealt with.

The Army said strategies are in place to curb the menace of banditry and kidnapping in Kano.

TVC News Correspondent Ibrahim Isah reports that the Nigerian Army as part of its activities in the state’s Karaye Emirate took free medical outreach to the local communities.

Effective healthcare delivery is the backbone of a grown state especially if felt in rural communities.

Absence of it, leads to loss of lives of both young and old.

Providing health in the rural communities is one major challenge government is faced with.

To fill the gap, The Nigerian Army is providing free medical care to the less privileged.

Karaye Emirate of Kano State, one of the areas in which operation Harbin Kunama is being carried out, is the Army’s target beneficiary.

The Nigerian Army has spent about two months operating at the Karaye Emirate axis covering Dansoshiya Forest.

The aim of the Operation is to protect Kano from banditry and kidnapping which keep occurring in neighbouring states, Katsina, Kaduna, Zamfara and Sokoto.

The free medical outreach is expected to help curb the spread of Malaria and Typhoid as well as treat some dental diseases.
