The Nigerian Air Force’s flying training school in Kano has graduated 13 air fighter pilots.
The pilots went through rigorous training and are now better prepared to fight insurgency in the country.
TVC News Kano Correspondent Ibrahim Isah reports that the Air Force has also upgraded some of its fighter aircrafts.
It was a day full of activities at the 403 flying training school in Kano State, North West Nigeria.
The Chief of the Air Staff, Hassan Abubakar witnessed the graduation ceremony of 13 pilots trained by the Nigerian Air Force.
The event began with an aerial display which saw the trained pilots showcasing their skills.
The Air chief’s delegation then proceeded to interact with the pilots and gave awards to the outstanding ones amongst them.
The Chief of the Air Staff, is glad about the training received by the pilots and reiterates the Airforce’s commitment to ensuring insurgency is dealt with in the country.
The ceremony also involved the inspection of two upgraded L39ZA fighter aircrafts.
The Air Force Chief says their upgrade is necessary to strengthen the fighter aircrafts’ capacity.
