The Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Technical and Vocational Education Board, Morounke Azeez said Nigeria must pay attention to vocational and technical education in order the economy to thrive, remain sustainable and create more jobs.
Addressing journalists at a media briefing to assess its achievements for the past year as well as reveal plans for the new year, Mrs Azeez explains that competent and skilled manpower through vocational education is the solution to curbing unemployment and alleviate poverty.
The LASVEB Boss noted that the Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration remains committed to creating platforms that will help the teaming youths in the state to be gainfully employed while at the same time contributing to the growth and development of Lagos economy.
