The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) is seeking election of credible candidates that will drive fulfillment of the country’s Economic agenda, at next year’s polls.
It made this known ahead of the twenty eighth Nigerian Economic Summit which will take place in Abuja.

The 28th Nigerian Economic Summit is themed 2023 and Beyond, priorities for shared Prosperity.
It is a theme considered apt against the backdrop of the political transition period the country is at the moment.
The talks at the center on development needs in areas of Economic, Security, social justice, good governance, political stability and environmental stability.
The emphasis is on the electorate making the right choices.
Speaking at the summit, Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba said there are a lot of binding constraints
that needs to be dealt with.
Chairman, NESG Asue Ighodalo stated that there are a lot of things that happens behind closed doors, a lot of discussions, arguments, agreements, disagreement and so on.
The summit has held for 28 years and its masterminds say the output has helped in shaping National development plan decisions, they believe this year’s outing won’t be any different as it would allow participants strong lessons and insights from the past and present
while setting the economic policy agenda for sustainable Economic Development.
The 28th Nigerian Economic Summit will have in attendance National and global leaders and government, business, politics development, civil society and the Academia.
