The Nigerian Air Force has carried out two precision airstrikes against armed bandits in Zamfara State, destroying an improvised explosive device hub and killing several fighters.

The operations was carried out on Sunday under the Air Component of Operation FANSAN YAMMA, Sector Two, in Tsafe Local Government Area.

According to the NAF, the first strike targeted Turba Hill, a known bandit hideout, following credible intelligence and sustained surveillance.

Air assets engaged a key operational structure within the enclave, with battle damage assessment confirming its complete destruction and the killing of bandits at the location.

The NAF statement said a second air interdiction mission hit the camp of notorious bandit leader Kachalla Dogo Sule, identified as a major IED manufacturing and operational base linked to recent attacks along the Dan Sadau–Magami axis.
