The minister of Defence Abubakar Badaru is ordering troops of Northwest operation Fansar Yamma to capture bandit Leader Bello Turji and others alive
The minister is confident that the troops have all it takes to restore peace in all troubled communities and highways.
This is the first operational visit by the Minister of Defence Abubakar Badaru to the headquarters of Northwest operation Fansar Yamma in Gusau, Zamfara state.
The theatre operation was established few months ago with the mandate of crushing armed bandit and kidnappers in the region.
Addressing troops, the Minister ordered them to capture the dreaded bandit leader Bello Turji alive.
Mr. Badaru assured the troops of the Federal Government readiness to improve their welfare.
The Minister is expected to visit other communities experiencing bandits attack.
